Walking in Different Directions

The week has been quite busy but eventful nonetheless. Almost the whole Saturday I was working on this small project from my former employer for their event. Well I decided to take this one on a small budget just to expand my oppurtunity to get more work. It was really nice working with them again though. Then that night after finishing it up, I went to Mega Mall where I finally bought my new Siemens M65 phone. I found a store with the cheapest price for the unit and immidiately bought it. Hehehe. Just really excited.

Sunday morning, I was scheduled to meet with this friend of mine who then surprised me with his New Car! that he’s been eyeing and been saving up for sometime now. Really glad he finally got it! Just proves that if you really want something you can have it with a lot of hard work and “Gusto”. We also had some serious talk that morning as the past few weeks had been rather different. We had some issues cleared up and talked about the directions we are taking. I know I know I’ve been talking about friendships and stuff but one thing really important is “letting people go”. There comes a point in time where people just go in different directions and we must somehow accept that. To let them expand their horizons, let them experience new things in order for them to grow. And that goes the same for each us. We each have our own directions to take and sometimes we have to go alone in order to grow. But that doesn’t mean that friendship will end there, it would just evolve somehow. Well after that talk, everything seems lighter.

We drove around with his new car. Ate some pizzas, my treat as promised, after getting a couple of paychecks last Friday. And just talked about anything we could think of, from the cute girl who served us our pizza to the new rock music to work to anime and some car parts.

Well it was a nice day!

Today was a lot relaxed by the way. Finally got another payment today from a foreign client. Now I have to convince this other client of mine to pay-up or else I’ll just pull the plug.
