RedDoorz had an interesting story on how it started in Indonesia. It came from a need to find convenient stays around the city if traffic was a standstill and people couldn’t go home. Offering an affordable stay option nearby for the night instead of lingering aimlessly in the street was needed. Hence, RedDoorz concept was born. A tech-based company utilizing an app to search for partner properties nearby or a specific destination. Much like Uber or Grab users get to choose the level of quality from Basic, Plus and Premium. Recently I had the chance to try RedDoorz Premium near Greenbelt as I was conveniently looking for a place at the heart of Makati. I was taking a two-day weekend workshop and just wanted to stay nearby .
RedDoorz Premium Near Greenbelt
As mentioned earlier, there are three types of RedDoorz available: The Basic, Plus and Premium. The Basic can go as low as less than P500. I was able to stay on one before (RedDoorz near Araneta Center) and it was no-frills, basic, yet clean and comfortable for its price range. On the other end of the spectrum, I was able to stay at RedDoorz Premium near Greenbelt. The location is one of its main selling point. It is just behind the old and new Greenbelt. A short walk to AIM on the right side and a really short walk to the Dela Rosa walkway and Ayala avenue and Ayala Triangle. If you have business in Makati, everything’s so accessible.

Room Quality
Location is not the only reason this RedDoorz property makes it premium. Housed inside LPL Suites, the rooms are considerably spacious. The RedDoorz Premium near Greenbelt room I got has bright windows with sliding curtains, a fridge, thermos, water, coffee with cups, plenty of cabinets and large space which can be a kitchen area which leads to the bathroom.
A nice decal decorates the wall above the headboard. Linens and bed is clean. The pillows are really comfortable, I could feel the air escaping the pillow as I put pressure on it but still retains its firmness but shapes to comfort.
The RedDoorz staple kit is there too. It contains a toothbrush, comb, cotton buds and a couple of fresh mints. At the bathroom is a refillable dispenser for body wash and shampoo with conditioner. There’s WiFi in room was good on off-peak hours can slow down on peak.
RedDoorz Convenience
I certainly had a convenient stay at RedDoorz Premium near Greenbelt. Especially for my purpose of attending a couple of days yoga workshop nearby. I only had to walk to the venue which is across Ayala Triangle. Plenty of eating places nearby. Groceries and convenience stores a plenty. Even meeting a few friends nearby.
All this is purely a choice given by RedDoorz which had other properties in Makati. And each has its own strengths and features that can cater to different types of travelers and needs.
