New reads
I just bought a couple of new books to add to my stack. I’ll be going on a week long trip again and I’ve always make it a point to bring a book with me to read during long waits and especially this one during long flights.

Paulo Coelho’s “The Alchemist” is the book who many claimed have somehow changed their lives or their way of thinking. I heard people leave their jobs to look for their “Personal Legends” and I know one who did. So what’s so special about this book?
Paulo Coelho’s The Pilgrimage
I’m a late comer when it comes to Paulo Coelho, I have heard so much about him, especially for those who have read the famous “The Alchemist”. It would seem the book made quite an impact on their lives so I got curious. Paulo was an aspiring writer when he was young, his parents had to put him in a mental Institution for his ambitious dream. They wanted him to be an engineer, but Paulo knew he what he wants to be, a Writer. After knocking on a number of publisher’s doors and got disappointing sales early on his career, he persevered. Eventually, his works landed on the right publisher and on the right people, the rest is history. He gained recognition for his writing and recieved numerous awards.
Criticism
I just want to share this reading to people everywhere. I must admit that I’m not an expert on the subject as I’ve always have to remind myself of this. It’s an excerpt from Andrew Matthew’s book “Making Friends” on the subject of “Criticism”:
