Pattaya, is the second most visited city in Thailand after Bangkok and there’s a good reason why. It’s the closest beach escape from the bustling city. Tañon Strait | Mantalip Reef: From Starfishes to Starry Skies

It was hard to get used to the comforts of Hale Manna and explore more the beauty of the underwater world of Moalboal as in day 5 of our Oceana Philippines Photo Safari, we were on the move again. Off the coast the large white liveaboard outrigger vessel from Harold’s Dive Center in Dumaguete awaits to ferry us from Cebu, across Tañon Strait to Mantalip Reef in Bindoy, Negros Oriental. It was an impressive boat, spacious with lots of sitting and lounging areas, a well-kept mess area, restroom, and solar charging area. Ocean travel always had that soothing comfort, embraced by the breeze with boundless possibilities seen across the horizon.

Perhentian Islands | Chasing Turtles, Sharks and Sting Rays

Oh yeah I love snorkelling. I simply can’t get enough of the underwater world even on shallow depths. I would take diving but it is a much more expensive a hobby and I never got a chance to get certified that’s why I’ll settle with snorkelling for now. And if you ask me now where was the best snorkelling I had? I would definitely say Perhentian Islands, in Malaysia since the snorkelling tour was so organised and I was surprised to see the abundant marine life in one afternoon.
