The Mall Entrance

The Mall Entrance

This morning I went to this newly opened mall “Market! Market!” at the Fort. It was the first time I’ve seen the place and I quite like it. The way it was built and it’s spacious interiors. Not all the stores are open yet, but there is enough to occupy you. I even bought a new book written by Nietzsche back in 1884, a part of it which was banned back then. The book’s title is “Thus Spoke Zarathustra”, I read the 1st page of the preface and it seems interesting to delve in the mind of this insane genius. Got the book for a mere 30bucks at one of the bargain book stalls there. Also found this comic issue of “Y the Last Man” my former office-mate/ fellow comics enthusiast has been looking for some time. Boy this mall should pay me for plugging them here. Hehehe.

Don’t get me wrong, I didn’t go there to just shop. I went there foremost because I have this new client which I can’t divulge at this moment. But they have one of their store branch there and are in a process of “Re-Branding” their identity, they also have their competitor’s store there so I have to check out the place to get some ideas. Really exciting project for me. 🙂

Buendia

Nightshot of Buendia (Gil Puyat Ave)at the top of the bulding I work at. You can tell it’s not that tall. Hehehe.

Also yesterday was a food feast. It was my Boss’ Birthday at this new copany I’m working part time with. Wow!!! lotsa food!!!

But not all is good news though. A friend/ Travel buddy of mine was confined at the hospital as he got really sick. We went there to visit last night to see him. He was at the ICU at that time. Not really that serious, it’s just that the equipment there was complete. We met his Nice mom and showed us his confines at the ICU. Funny though is that on the hallway the security tried to stop us as they thought we were Reporters! What?! we don’t even have a mic or camera with us. Hehehe. Anyways it was amusing. Fortunately our friend was able to see us even for a brief moment though we weren’t able to talk to him long. Hope he gets well soon though. Turns out that there was a famous personality at that Hospital at the time, that’s why security was so strict. But Reporters?! Hehehehe. Funny.
