The recent move of Six Apart to put a price tag on their Movable Type 3 release caused quite a stir in the blogging community. Many have been using movable type and to strip down some of their features on their upcoming “Free Edition” doesn’t appeal much to people.
I’m also quite affected by this as I’ve come to like using MT, I’m now thinking wether I should be using WordPress or TextPattern as my blogging tool. Or go back to the old Blogger. Or better yet, polish on my programming skill and create my own blogging machine with PHP. Hehehe. Well that’s quite a challenge.
Now we’ll see what’ll hapen.
